Our mission at The Hart Law Firm is to provide exceptional legal advice and strategic counsel to business startups, global brands, and digital CEO’s. When it comes to business, no two clients are the same. Because of this, we take a great deal of time to get to know our clients and develop an individualized strategic legal plan that will help each client meet their business and financial goals.
Who We Work With
We work with growth minded companies who recognize the value that strategic outsourced general counsel can bring to their organization. Typically, these companies are either in the pre-startup phase, or have begun to generate significant revenue in the high six or seven figure range.
Things are starting to happen fast… you are hiring people, you are bringing new products to market, you are developing intellectual property that is in need of protection.
In a word, there are a lot of legal issues and decisions that need to be made, and you don’t feel comfortable making these decisions on your own in a vacuum. Whether it is how to properly onboard the 10 new employees your just hired, or what names to use for the new brand you are launching, or how to properly train your sales staff so that they don’t run afoul of any Federal regulations, there is a lot to think about.

Our Outsourced General Counsel Program
For a fraction of the cost of adding an in-house attorney to your team, we are here to help you grow your business strategically, without making any costly legal mistakes. This program is aimed to inject strategic legal and business advice and counsel into your leadership team how and when you need it, until your business is ready to bring your legal team in-house.
Stage One - Onboarding
During the first stage of our outsourced general counsel engagement, we will get to know you and your team. We will interview all of the major players in your organization, and start to lay the groundwork of a strategic legal and business plan for your business.
Over the course of the first 90 days, we will have a series of in-person or virtual meetings (depending on your location) to learn as much as possible about your business, it’s strengths and weaknesses from a legal and business standpoint, and begin to map out a strategic legal plan for how best to map your growth for the coming year.
At the end of the onboarding stage, we will have developed a written strategic plan that for what you should accomplish during the next quarter, as well as the next 12 months.
Depending on your budget, we typically recommend working on three to five legal projects or strategic projects every ninety days.
Stage Two - Implementation
During the implementation stage of the OGC Program, we will begin to implement the most urgent and important projects that we identified during the onboarding stage of the process. Using your initial budget and legal needs as a guide, we will conduct weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly check-in calls to make sure everybody is on the same page with regards to the projects we have allocated for the initial 90 day implementation period.
It is important to understand that some projects are legal in nature and can only be completed by your legal team, whereas other projects (such as developing a branding or marketing campaign) will need to be completed by the appropriate team members within your organization. In this way, we are able to work hand-in-hand with your business to make sure all your legal bases are taken care of and that nothing is overlooked.
Stage Three - Ongoing Advice and Guidance
Once the initial projects have been completed, we will remain at your disposal for ongoing business, legal and strategic advice and related projects. We will continue to work with you on quarterly and yearly strategic plans to help your business grow in the direction you choose.
